SCRIPTURE: Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines…..Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Habakkuk 3:17-18
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every time you settle for distraction, you sacrifice your distinction.
It is a proven fact that the devil attacks our relationship with God. One of the worst attacks of the enemy on the life of a person is the attack on their worship.
The devil attacked the worship life of Job in order to distract him from serving God (Job 1:20). The devil uses distraction to divert our attention from doing that which will make us outstanding in life. That is why every time you settle for distraction, you sacrifice your distinction.
Your worship, therefore, is a guarantee of your welfare on the face of the earth.
The Channels Of Worship
1. Total Surrender
Allow God to define your actions and directions in life. Always recognize that everything that pertains to you belongs to God.
2.Character and Lifestyle
Live to represent God well in your generation; refuse to misrepresent Him. Everyone who sees you should be able to see and feel God.
3. The Display of Quality and Excellence.
Be outstanding in your endeavour and undertaking. Let the quality of your work become evangelistic; let your excellence and character preach the Gospel.
Beloved, your welfare is guaranteed in the journey of worship. You will not struggle for the future if you focus on worship.
Remember this: Every time you settle for distraction, you sacrifice your distinction.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Always identify what God has done for you and never cease to testify of His goodness.
2. Discipline yourself to make worship a lifestyle.
PRAYER: O LORD, I plead the Blood of Jesus upon my heart and my mind. I decree that no guilt, error or mistake will ever frustrate my worship, LORD in Jesus’ Name.
