SCRIPTURE: Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. – Psalms 67:5-7
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It does not matter what the devil took from you, there is something he could not take; praise God for it.
It is has been confirmed that praise is a fertilizer and magnet of the blessing of God. Throughout the Scripture, men that were massively blessed were heavily praise-full (Psalms 100:1-4). David laid up enough silver and gold for his son, Solomon, to build a temple without sweat. He was a man so blessed of God that he walked in the realm of every anointing available: he was a priest, a prophet, a king, etc. What was his secret – praise! Praise blessed him. Psalms 119:164 gives us his praise schedule. No wonder he was blessed beyond measure.
A murmurer or grumbler cannot end as a blessed person.
What is the connection between praise and the blessing?
Praise provokes attention-commanding results, evidence-provoking dimension of God’s blessings (Psalm 67:7). Praise ushers a person into the realm of visible blessings.
My counsel to you is, do not focus on what is lost, focus on what is left, and your focus on what is left will recover what is lost. It does not matter what the devil took from you, there is still something he could not take; praise God for it.
As you praise God, you will be ushered into the realm of visible blessing, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: It does not matter what the devil took from you, there is still something he could not take; praise God for it.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Live a life of praise.
2. Deliberately refuse to complain no matter what the devil is showing you.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for Your help, for the gift of life, for where You brought me from, for where I am and for where You are taking me to. I will forever trust You, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
