SCRIPTURE: A faithful man shall abound with blessings... – Proverbs 28:20
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you want to abound with the Blessings of God, be faithful in your devotion to God
Yesterday, it was established that faithfulness is key to fruitfulness. We also examined faithfulness as being true to God and the people around us.
Today, we shall be examining 7 key areas where God wants us to be faithful.
1. Be faithful in your devotion to God: If you want to abound with the blessings of God, be faithful in your devotion to God; be faithful in your prayer life and personal Bible study.
2. Be faithful in your giving: Your giving is a proof of your love for God. Nobody can prove his or her love for someone without giving (John 3:16).
3. Be faithful in witnessing: Be faithful in evangelism; be faithful in changing other people’s lives.
4. Be faithful in Kingdom Service: Do not just sit in Church; get involved in active service
5. Be faithful to duty: Wherever you work, be faithful to duty.
6. Be faithful to your spouse: Whoever is not faithful to their spouse is cursed. Our anchor scripture says that it is the faithful that will abound with the blessing. The opposite of blessing is curse.
7. Be faithful to your calling: Be faithful to your Divine assignment in God. Deploy the grace of God.
Remember this: If you want to abound with the Blessings of God, be faithful in your devotion to God.
