REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOURNEY OF LIFE

SCRIPTURE: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. – Habakkuk 2:1
 
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be independent of God is to be ineffective in life.
 
It is an established fact that life is a journey. Every journey requires adequate preparation. The preparation for a journey determines its success. 
 
Just as every journey requires adequate preparation in order to arrive at the right destination, the journey of life also requires adequate preparation in order to arrive at the purpose of God for one’s life. 
 
What are the requirements for a successful journey of destiny?
 
1. Vision
Vision is the mental picture of a preferred future. Vision gives you the ability to plan and the capacity to pursue your plan. Vision gives you the capacity to measure progress.
 
2. The Presence of God
If Jesus who is God and whose birth was announced by angels, needed God’s Presence to succeed, then, we equally need God’s Presence to fulfil destiny. 
 
Every man is helpless outside God’s Presence. To be independent of God is to be ineffective in life.
 
3. Joy and excitement
Excitement is the secret of accomplishment in life. Excitement is a companion of expectation and expectation brings manifestation (Psalms 105:43). 
 
Beloved, do not start any journey you are not excited about.
 
Remember this: To be independent of God is to be ineffective in life.
 
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1.Ask God for a solid vision for your life (if you have not yet discovered the reason for your existence).
2. Make up your mind not to embark on any journey without God.
3. Make a choice to be happy and excited in order to excel in the journey of life.
 
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the revelation of Your purpose for my life. Clothe me with Your Presence so I can succeed in the journey of life and destiny in Jesus’ Name.
