THE POWER OF THE ANOINTING

SCRIPTURE: Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. – 1 Samuel 16:13

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A man is both vulnerable and incapacitated without the power of God.

The Anointing is the embodiment of the Spirit of God on a person. It is also God’s ability on a man that makes him do the extraordinary with ease.

The truth is it is possible to be talented and gifted yet bankrupt of the Anointing. Any talent that is devoid of the Anointing ends in struggle and frustration.

The power of the Anointing forbids nominal or ordinary existence. You cannot be anointed with the power of God and be ordinary. The Anointing imparts on you the restlessness to humiliate the devil and his agents. It baptizes you with the ability to hew and ruin the works of darkness. The power of God has the capacity to gather a shattered, battered, scattered and tattered life. It is powerful enough to suture a ruptured and punctured destiny.

The truth is, a man is both vulnerable and incapacitated without the power of God.

Beloved, anything that is after your Anointing is after your life and destiny. So, fight it!

Remember this: A man is both vulnerable and incapacitated without the power of God.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Decide not to exist without the Anointing
2. Confront whatever is confronting the Anointing or the power of God in your life.
