SCRIPTURE: And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. – Habakkuk 2:2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Followership is easy if vision is clear.
It has been confirmed that every scriptural principle carries practical products; there is no wasted effort, input or labour under Heaven if it is done according to the will of God.
When God asks us to live a life of vision, it is because there are profits attached to it.
Today, we shall explore one of the profits of vision.
Vision is the magnet of followership.
A clear vision will attract strong followership. People are drawn to the man who sees clearer and sharper than them. People will follow a person who knows where he is going in life.
Followership is easy if vision is clear.
Nehemiah had a clear vision of rebuilding the broken wall of Jerusalem. When he stated his vision before the people, he did not struggle with the people who would help him build the wall.
The reason Israel naturally followed David instead of Saul was because he had the vision of killing Goliath.
Followership is the basis for leadership. You cannot consider yourself a leader until someone is following you.
Beloved, develop a strong vision and you will command the followership of men.
Remember this: Followership is easy if vision is clear.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Outline your vision for living.
2. Pursue the outlined vision.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for a solid vision for living. Help me to pursue the reason I am alive in Jesus’ Name.
