THE PRODUCTS OF LOVE

SCRIPTURE: ‘Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…’ – James 4:8
 
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When a man or woman walks in love, they attract the Presence of God and become like God whose nature is Love.
 
In our study yesterday, we established the fact that our God is a God of love, and since He created us in His image, He expects us to manifest the nature of love.
 
What, then, are the products of love?
 
1. Love Releases the Nature of God in our Lives. 
 
When we walk in love, we look like God, but when we walk without love, we look like the devil. God is attracted to people who have His nature. Two people cannot walk together until they agree to do so (Amos 3:3).  When we agree with God and become more like Him in character and attitude, He is pulled in our direction. 
 
2. Love Releases the Presence of God. 
When a man or woman walks in love, they attract the Presence of God and become like God whose nature is Love. It does not matter who is present in your life, if God is not present, nothing is present.  The Presence of God in the life of a person is his or her greatest asset. The deeper you go in your relationship with God, the more transformed you become in the walk of love. Walking with God enhances the walk of love.
 
Remember this: When a man or woman walks in love, they attract the Presence of God and become like God whose nature is Love.
 
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Outline the characters of God from His Word and practise them to be like Him.
2. Make up your mind to draw nearer to Him in prayer in order to attract His Presence.
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to walk with You so I can be more like You, in Jesus’ Name.
